Playing Field Update

Covid-19, Local News

The playing field is open as far as Regulations permit. The adult equipment has been taken out of use, by law. Certain other pieces of equipment are closed and although not law (yet), it is because of the required Covid-19 risk assessment. Given how much more virulent this strain of the virus is, and that it likes the cold weather, the Parish Council took the decision to close the equipment that could be used by larger groups of children. The swings and smaller equipment are still open.

For your information, please find below a link to the regulations:

We know it is not ideal and that the park has been a lifeline for many, but as a Parish Council, we have to follow the regulations. We will continue to monitor the situation, and apologise for any inconvenience.
