North of Hucknall, along Wood Lane and Whyburn Lane.
Size
 260 houses and an industrial estate on about 12.5 hectares.
Existing use
This is mostly farmland at present, also derelict small-holdings.
Advantages
  • The site is close to community facilities, eg schools, shops.
  • Next to a bus route with access to Nottingham.
  • Close to the A611 dual carriageway Hucknall by-pass and motorway links.
Disadvantages
  • The land is all existing Green Belt.
  • The land is mostly high grade agricultural land.
  • A long way from Hucknall town centre and rail / tram stations.
