The beaches of Flamborough
Image B4 : Hunmanby Gap (Ref: TA 132 773)

The beach at Hunmanby is 200m long at low water.  The movement of water on the beach causes the sand to move, and often ripples are formed.  The size and shape of the ripples give clues to the movement directions. In this view we can see that there are two bars and two runnels on this beach.
