The Churchyard mowers | ||
The Churchyard Mowers is a group of volunteers who help to maintain the churchyard of St James' in Papplewick. They are divided into two teams, each working in the churchyard for a couple of hours one Saturday morning in each month. Anyone who wishes to help to maintain the churchyard can volunteer to join one of the mowing teams. |

As well as its historic and religious significance, the churchyard is a valuable ecological resource. We try to maintain and manage habitats in an eco-friendly way. There is an agreed environmental plan (click here to download a copy) |
